To be re-evaluated in four weeks
The Hawks announced Wednesday that Krejci (back) will be re-evaluated in 3-to-4 weeks.
Analysis
After leaving Monday's game against the Magic, Krejci has been diagnosed with a non-displaced lumbar fracture and is facing an extended absence. Caris LeVert and Georges Niang are primed for expanded roles while Krejci recovers.

Ruled out for Wednesday
Krejci (back) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Knicks, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.
Analysis
Krejci sustained the lower back contusion on a hard fall in the fourth quarter of Monday's win over the Magic. The 24-year-old's next chance to play will come after the All-Star break against the Magic on Feb. 20. Caris LeVert and Terance Mann are candidates for an uptick in playing time with Krejci on the shelf.

Departs with back issue
Krejci has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game against the Magic due to a lower back contusion. He tallied eight points (3-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal over 18 minutes before departing.
Analysis
Krejci checked out of the game with 7:43 remaining in the fourth quarter and immediately headed for the locker room, and it didn't take long for the Hawks' training staff to rule him out for the rest of the evening. He'll presumably be considered day-to-day heading into Wednesday's game versus the Knicks.

Leaves with back issue
Krejci exited in the fourth quarter of Monday's game against the Magic due to an apparent back injury, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Analysis
Krejci was fouled hard and landed on his back, but he managed to make his free-throw attempt before checking out of the game with 7:43 remaining in the fourth quarter to be assessed further. The 24-year-old will most likely be shut down for the remainder of the contest.

Sniffs triple-double Saturday
Krejci had 12 points (4-8 FG, 4-8 3Pt), eight rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one steal across 32 minutes during Saturday's 125-111 win over the Wizards.
Analysis
Krejci flirted with what would've been his first career triple-double, falling a lone rebound and three-pointer shy of the team-high marks in those areas Saturday. The 24-year-old remains a candidate to make occasional starts for the Hawks going forward, but he's come off the bench in seven straight games. During that span, Krejci has averaged 9.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.6 blocks and 2.1 threes in 26.0 minutes.
