Analysis
Maxey was a late addition to the injury report with a right knee contusion and will ultimately miss Philadelphia's final game before the All-Star break. Coach Nick Nurse said Maxey took knee-to-knee contact during Tuesday's loss to Toronto, but the extent of the injury remains unclear. In Maxey's absence, Jared Butler, Ricky Council and Jeff Dowtin are candidates for increased roles.

Analysis
Maxey is coming off arguably his worst performance of the season, finishing with a season-low five points in Tuesday's loss to the Raptors. The 76ers will be shorthanded in the backcourt Wednesday, with Kyle Lowry (hip) and Eric Gordon (wrist) already ruled out. If the up-and-coming guard cannot play against Brooklyn, Philadelphia could turn to Quentin Grimes and Jared Butler to pick up the slack.

Analysis
Maxey entered Tuesday's contest having scored at least 30 points in eight of his last nine outings while shooting 52.6 percent from the field. That hot shooting streak didn't carry over into Tuesday's game, with his lone field goal coming at the 1:49 mark of the fourth quarter. It was a rough outing for Maxey, but he'll have a prime opportunity to turn things around in the second game of the 76ers' back-to-back set Wednesday against the Nets as Joel Embiid will likely sit out in order to manage a lingering left knee injury.

Maxey ended Sunday's 135-127 loss to the Bucks with 39 points (16-23 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five assists, four rebounds, one block and one steal in 40 minutes.
Analysis
Maxey torched the nets while recording a team-high mark in points, albeit in a losing effort. The star point guard also sank five or more triples for the 14th time this season. The 23-year-old has been spectacular of late, logging eight outings with 30 or more points over his last 10 appearances. Moreover, Maxey has now racked up 27 or more points in each of his last 18 outings.

Analysis
Friday broke Maxey's seven-game streak of scoring 30-plus points, but the All-Star guard still managed to pace the 76ers in a game that saw Philadelphia down by as many as 34 points. Maxey is averaging a career-best 27.8 points per game this season. Still, since the beginning of January, that number has jumped to 30.2 points per game on 46.8 percent shooting, along with 7.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals over 39.1 minutes per contest.
