Hits two threes in All-Star Game
Herro registered six points (2-4 FG, 2-4 3Pt) and one assist over 7:57 of court time during Kenny's Young Stars' 41-32 loss to Chuck's Global Stars.
Analysis
Herro won the 3-Point Contest on Saturday, and he was able to carry that over to the first round of the All-Star Game Tournament. His efforts weren't enough to help Team Kenny advance to the finals, but Herro will now turn his attention towards the final stretch of the regular season. The Heat will begin a three-game road trip against the Raptors on Friday.

Crowned 3-Point Champ
Herro defeated Golden State's Buddy Hield in the final round of Saturday's Starry 3-Point Contest, winning for the first time in his career and dethroning Damian Lillard.
Analysis
Herro had a challenging path to winning the 3-Point Contest on Saturday in San Francisco, as he had to square off against some of the best three-point shooters in the league, from two-time 3-Point Contest champion Damian Lillard to Buddy Hield, Cameron Johnson, Norman Powell, Jalen Brunson, Cade Cunningham and Darius Garland. However, the Heat star was red-hot in this contest, putting up 24 points in the final round and ultimately outlasting Hield, who had homecourt advantage, and Garland. The Kentucky product will now play in his first All-Star Game on Sunday before getting back to work with Miami. He's having arguably the best year of his career, averaging career-high numbers in points (23.9), rebounds (5.5) and assists (5.5) while shooting 38 percent from beyond the arc.

Herro recorded a game-high 40 points (15-30 FG, 3-14 3Pt, 7-9 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and three steals in 37 minutes during Thursday's 118-113 loss to the Mavericks.
Analysis
The 25-year-old guard didn't get enough help to push a shorthanded Miami squad into the win column -- only three other Heat players even scored in double digits, led by Kel'el Ware's 17 -- but Herro still tied his season scoring high in a heroic solo effort. He's produced at least 30 points in three of his last eight appearances, averaging 23.1 points, 7.1 assists, 5.8 boards, 2.8 threes and 1.3 steals over that stretch.

Analysis
Herro returned following a one-game absence, and while he was unable to post the same numbers he's had throughout the season, at least he looked healthy enough to suit up and handle his regular workload. Herro should be available to play Thursday against the Mavericks in Miami's final game before the All-Star break.

Herro will shake off a questionable tag and return to action after missing Monday's loss to the Celtics due to an illness. Over his last eight appearances, Herro has averaged 22.1 points, 8.1 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 0.9 steals in 37.0 minutes per game. However, he's yet to play with Andrew Wiggins, who made his Heat debut versus Boston.

Herro will look to progress enough in his recovery to return Wednesday against the Thunder.
