Double-double streak continues
Towns finished with 26 points (7-17 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and one steal over 43 minutes during Monday's 124-119 loss to the Pistons.
Analysis
Towns posted his ninth consecutive double-double Monday, albeit in a losing effort. The 29-year-old did struggle a bit from the field, though he is still on pace to shoot a career-high 55.0 percent this season. Despite tying his second-highest minutes total of the season, the star big man appeared to injure his thumb in the contest, though he was dismissive about the injury postgame, per Ian Begley of SportsNet New York. The extent of the injury is unknown, though it could be something to monitor ahead of Wednesday's game against Philadelphia.

Double-doubles in blowout win
Towns notched 30 points (10-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-9 FT), 18 rebounds, four assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Sunday's 140-106 victory over Milwaukee.
Analysis
Towns delivered a stellar performance in the blowout win, racking up a game-high mark in rebounds while logging his 14th 30-plus-point outing. The star big man recorded his 33rd double-double through 37 regular-season appearances and is also on pace to average a career-high mark in rebounds (14.0). Towns continues to dominate with his new club and has been efficient while doing so, shooting what would be a career-high 55.4 percent from the field.

Double-doubles in ugly loss
Towns registered 23 points (9-16 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 29 minutes during Friday's 126-101 loss to the Thunder.
Analysis
The Knicks looked overmatched in this game, but Towns delivered another consistent effort en route to posting his seventh straight double-double. In fact, the star center has not recorded a double-double in only four of his 36 regular-season appearances. He's averaging 25.3 points and a career-high 13.9 boards per game in his first year with the franchise after being traded from the Timberwolves in the offseason.

Will play Friday
Towns (knee) is available for Friday's game against the Thunder, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
Analysis
Towns will shake off a questionable tag due to right knee patellar tendonopathy. The star big man has appeared in four of the club's last five outings, during which he has averaged 29.8 points, 18.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.0 steals and 0.8 blocks in 37.5 minutes per contest.

Iffy for Friday
Towns (knee) has been listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder.
Analysis
Towns returned to the floor for the Knicks during Wednesday's game against the Raptors, recording a double-double with 27 points and 13 rebounds. That was his 31st double-double of the season, as the veteran big man continues to shine in New York. However, if he misses Friday's game, Jericho Sims could see a bump in minutes and possibly be inserted into the starting lineup again like he was against the Magic.

Sixth straight double-double
Towns logged 27 points (9-14 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and three steals in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 112-98 win over the Raptors.
Analysis
The double-double was Towns' sixth straight and 31st of the season, putting him second in the NBA behind only Domantas Sabonis' 32. Towns did miss Monday's contest due to knee soreness, but he's looked plenty healthy when he's been on the court, averaging 30.2 points, 16.5 boards, 3.2 assists, 1.8 threes, 1.5 steals and 0.8 blocks during his double-double streak while shooting 60.5 percent from the floor and 45.8 percent (11-for-24) from beyond the arc.

Cleared to face Toronto
Towns (knee) will play in Wednesday's game against Toronto, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.
Analysis
Towns will return from a one-game absence due to right knee tendinitis and will replace Jericho Sims in the Knicks' starting five. In two games against Toronto this season, Towns is averaging 27.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 2.5 combined steals-plus-blocks.

Iffy for Wednesday
Towns (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
Analysis
After missing Monday's loss to Orlando due to right knee tendinitis, Towns is in jeopardy of missing Wednesday's favorable matchup against the Raptors. If the superstar big man is unable to go, fantasy managers can expect Jalen Brunson to do the heavy lifting on offense, while Jericho Sims and Precious Achiuwa figure to split Towns' vacated minutes at center for the Knicks. Brunson has averaged 30.7 points, 7.0 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 37.9 minutes over three games without Towns available this season.
