Excellent display in OT win
Brunson racked up 36 points (13-21 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 7-10 FT), three rebounds and eight assists over 43 minutes during Wednesday's 149-148 overtime win over the Hawks.
Analysis
Karl-Anthony Towns stole the show with his 44-point performance Wednesday, but Brunson had an impressive performance as an offensive weapon and primary playmaker. The star guard was coming off a season-low eight-point display in the win over the Pacers on Tuesday, but he bounced back admirably and notched his 10th game this season with at least 30 points and eight assists. He enters the All-Star break with averages of 27.8 points, 7.0 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 0.8 steals per game since the beginning of February.

Brunson closed with eight points (4-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds and seven assists in 23 minutes during Tuesday's 128-115 win over the Pacers.
Analysis
Brunson wasn't at his best Tuesday, with his eight points signifying a new season-low output. However, the superstar guard's quiet showing was bailed out by teammates Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart scoring 40 and 30 points, respectively. Brunson still has strong averages of 25.8 points, 8.3 assists, 2.1 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.1 three-pointers in 33.4 minutes while shooting 43.6 percent from deep over his last eight games.

Brunson finished Saturday's 131-104 loss to the Celtics with 36 points (10-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 13-13 FT) and five assists across 36 minutes.
Analysis
Brunson delivered another impressive performance from the field while scoring 30-plus points for the 18th time this season, albeit in a losing effort. The superstar point guard did struggle to fill in the stat sheet, registering zero rebounds for the first time this season. The 28-year-old has scored 30 or more points in three of his last five appearances, averaging 30.6 points, 8.4 assists, 2.6 rebounds, 1.8 three-pointers and 1.4 steals across 36.6 minutes per game in that five-game span.
